How does market pricing work?
Spare capacity is sold at auction. You set a maximum bid; while the market price stays at or below it, your node runs and you pay the market rate — not your bid.
What is the difference between Spot and On-Demand?
Spot prices float with the market and can be reclaimed when you're outbid. On-Demand is a fixed rate that isn't subject to interruption. Both are shown per region above.
What happens when I'm outbid?
The node is reclaimed. Design for interruption — checkpoints, replicas and graceful shutdown — to run production workloads on Spot safely.
How is egress charged?
Each cluster gets a free allowance of (average GB of RAM) × 100 GB per month. Beyond that, egress is $0.01/GB. Ingress and cross-region traffic are free.
